Monster Laughs is the home of London comedy nights run by comedians. Things started back in 2018 with our free LOLipops open mic and it has grown from there: monthly headline shows at Big Comedy Hammersmith and Live at the White Hart, the Neurospicy Comedy our neurodivergent night, and special events like our Edinburgh preview festival White Hart Comedy Fest.

The nights are hand-picked by a comedian and professional booker with a wide taste in comedy and a clear preference for distinctive voices. That means headliners you wouldn't usually catch in a room this size - acts who are either too big for it, or who'd normally cost you theatre prices - alongside newer comics we've seen at our LOLipops open mic nights and believe deserve to be put in front of bigger crowds.

The other thing we believe in is that stand-up comes alive in a small room. Up close, anything can happen - an act can fly, wander somewhere unexpected, or come unstuck in front of forty people - and that's the bit you remember forever.
